PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a dielectric ceramic which can achieve both of a high temperature load characteristic and electrostatic capacity even when a thin layer of <1 μm is made of the ceramic and to provide a laminated ceramic capacitor having the dielectric ceramic. SOLUTION : The dielectric ceramic has a mixed crystal structure in which a first crystal particle 1 and a second crystal particle 2 having different crystal structures coexist. A main phase particle consists essentially of a barium titanate-based compound and contains specific rare earth elements such as La and Ce. The first crystal particle 1 comprises a main phase particle independent region 3 where a specific rare earth element R does not form a solid solution in the main phase particle and a rare earth element solid solution region 4 at a surface layer where a specific rare earth element R forms a solid solution in the main phase particle. The second crystal particle 2 has a core-shell structure and the specific rare earth element R forms a solid solution in the main phase particle at a shell part 6. A number ratio of the first crystal particles 1 to the total crystal particles is 12 to 84% and a number ratio of the second crystal particles 2 to the total crystal particles is 16 to 88%.
