PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for specific introduction of a foreign DNA fragment into a preselected insertion site of a genome of a plant. SOLUTION : The methods and means are provided to improve targeted DNA insertion in plants using rare-cleaving "double stranded break" inducing enzymes.
