PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for manufacturing a composition for a resin-bonded magnet which is manufactured of a raw material of a magnetic alloy powder containing a rare earth element and has superior moldability and corrosion resistance, and to provide a composition for a resin-bonded magnet, and a resin bonded magnet.
SOLUTION : The method for manufacturing a composition for a resin-bonded magnet includes adding and agitating phosphoric acid in crushing an iron-based magnet alloy coarse powder, containing a rare earth element in an organic solvent or, after crushing it to form a composite metal phosphate coating on the surface of the magnetic alloy powder; adding and agitating a solution containing phosphoric acid and an organic solvent to the resulted magnetic alloy powder, to laminate the composite metal phosphate coating; and then adding any one selected from a thermoplastic resin and a thermosetting resin as a resin binder and 0.001-3 mass% heavy metal inert agent and/or activated carbon to the resulting magnetic powder, having the plurality of layers of composite metal phosphate coating by integral blending and kneading them.
