FIELD : chemistry.
SUBSTANCE : invention relates to a method of producing solid inorganic material. The method of producing solid mineral material comprises the following steps : a) preparation of an aqueous paste comprising the following steps : a1) preparation of a preliminary paste by reacting (i) powder of one or more materials containing a compound or combination of silicon compounds selected from : silicon compounds which are present in form of anhydrous silicon dioxide (SiO2), selected from amorphous silicon dioxide, quartz, trimidite, crystaballite, stishovite and anhydrous silicon dioxide extracted from plants and silicon compounds present in form of hydrated silicon dioxide (Si(OH)4), selected from diatomite, radiolarite, opal, gaize, flint, sandstone, jasper, agate, chert, lutecite, chalcedonite, quartzine, petrified wood and chalcedony, with (ii) an inorganic base or a combination of inorganic bases, and, if needed, with (iii) addition of water; a2) obtaining a composition containing compounds or combination compounds selected from salts of inorganic acids; a3) obtaining a composition containing an additional mineral or combination of minerals which are crystalline or amorphous, selected from : aluminium silicates; compounds containing aluminium and oxygen; alkaline and alkali-earth carbonates; metal carbonates; silicates containing pure silicon dioxide and alkali-earth silicates; wherein the compositions are selected such that the paste obtained when mixing compositions obtained at step a1), a2) and a3) contain at least (i) silicon in form of anhydrous silicon dioxide, (ii) aluminium and (iii) calcium and/or magnesium; and water; a4) obtaining a paste by mixing compositions from steps a1), a2) and a3); b) moulding the paste obtained at step a); and c) hardening the aqueous paste moulded at step b) by drying at atmospheric pressure and at temperature lower than 99°C until solid inorganic material is obtained. The invention is developed in subclaims.
EFFECT : obtaining a preliminary paste for producing solid inorganic material which can be stored for a long period of time before using at ambient temperature, hardening of the inorganic material at atmospheric pressure and ambient temperature or moderate heating.
