PURPOSE : A composition for the manufacture of binderless briquettes for an in-mold inoculant of cast iron, binderless briquettes manufactured from the same, and a method of manufacturing binderless briquettes are provided to produce cast iron of excellent quality by mainly using the composition without binder.CONSTITUTION : A composition for manufacture of binderless briquettes for an in-mold inoculant of cast iron comprises Mg 10 weight%% or less, CaF2 8 weight%% or less, BMA of 20-80 weight%%, Fe of 5-65 weight%%, misch metal of 1.0-2.5 weight%%, and Ba of 1.5-3.5 weight%%. Binderless briquettes are manufactured by mixing the powder of the composition, putting the mixture in a mold, and applying molding pressure to the mold without binder.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
