PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a solid fuel having sufficient flammability and capable of sufficiently reducing fusion to a heater. SOLUTION : The solid fuel is manufactured by a powder obtained from coal and petroleum coke and a heat treatment article obtained by heating a plastic. The powder contains at least either one of a fine powdery coal obtained by pulverizing the coal and a thermal decomposition article of the fine powdery coal, and at least either one of a petroleum coke powder obtained by pulverizing the petroleum coke and a thermal decomposition article of the petroleum coke powder, and the plastic contains a thermoplastic resin. The heat treatment article contains a re-solidified article obtained by cooling the thermoplastic resin after it is melted. The content of a volatile article of the solid fuel is 10-80 mass%, the content of fixed carbon is 10-80 mass%, and the moisture content is 0-50 mass%. COPYRIGHT : (C)2011, JPO&INPIT
