PURPOSE : A method for manufacturing magnesium oxide nano-particles and the magnesium oxide nano-particles manufactured thereby are provided to simplify manufacturing processes without ultrahigh temperature circumstance.CONSTITUTION : A magnesium compound is mixed with weak acid, oxidized alkaline earth metal, and an organic solvent to form a magnesium oxide mixture(S100). The magnesium compound includes at least one of magnesium acetate, magnesium nitrate, and magnesium. The oxidized alkaline earth metal includes either of a barium oxide and a strontium oxide. A mixing process is implemented in an electric furnace of temperature between 400 and 600 degrees Celsius. The magnesium oxide mixture is dried(S300). The dried magnesium oxide mixture is heated(S400). The heated magnesium oxide mixture is cooled(S500).COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
