A high-strength heat-proof aluminum alloy material is composed of (by wt%) Cu 1.0-10.0%, Mn 0.05-1.5%, Cd 0.01-0.5%, Ti 0.01-0.5%, B 0.01-0.2%, Zr 0.01-1.0%, Be 0.001-0.1%, rare earth element 0.05-5% and the balance Al. The alloy can solve the problems of high thermal-cracking tendency during casting and product having low high-temperature strength. The method for producing the aluminum alloy material is also provided.
