PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a fusible link with fusing characteristics which prevent the fusible link from being fused when a rare short-circuit range overcurrent flows. SOLUTION : The fusible link includes : a fuse portion 1 that is composed of a first resistance portion 10 and a second resistance portion 20 which are formed of a fusible metal conductor, and has a fusing portion 12 that is fused and disconnected when it increases in temperature due to an overcurrent and that is provided on the first resistance portion 10 in proximity to a connection portion to the second resistance portion 20; a low-melting point metal chip 32 that has a lower melting point than the fusible metal conductor, and is fused and dispersed into the fusing portion 12, when it increases in temperature due to the overcurrent, to thereby form an alloy phase; and a hold portion 30 that holds the low-melting metal chip 32 in proximity to the fusing portion 12. A ratio of resistance values of the first resistance portion 10 and the second resistance portion 20 is set such that a heat concentration portion of the fuse portion 1 which has increased in temperature due to the rare short-circuit range overcurrent is shifted to a range of the first resistance portion 10 (portion 13 outside the fusing portion), which is not the fusing portion 12.
