PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an anisotropic magnetic powder of which magnetic property and heat stability are enhanced at high performance. SOLUTION : The disclosed alloy for rare earth magnet has a composition represented by R(Fe, Co)w-zTizCuα, wherein R is at least one kind of rare earth elements, and w, z and α satisfy 8≤w≤12, 0.42≤z<0.70 and 0.40≤α≤0.70.
