PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a low-cost magnetic field generating member whose rigidity is enhanced, and also, whose diameter is made small, further, which is capable of surely preventing warpage due to falling of a groove-shaped member or a difference of linear expansion coefficient between members. SOLUTION : The magnet roller 133 includes : a body part 140; a body groove 144, the groove-shaped member 142 fitted in along the body groove 144; and a rare-earth magnet block 141 arranged in the groove of the groove-shaped member 142. On each of a pair of flanks 1442 and 1442 of the body groove 144, a locking surface 1443a formed facing the bottom surface side so as to lock a lock receiving surface 1424a disposed at the leading end of the edge part of the groove-shaped member 142 is disposed in the axial direction of the body part 140.
