PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a water-inmiscible processing lubricant composition which excels in cutting processing of a rare earth magnet by a fixed abrasive grain wire saw. SOLUTION : The water-inmiscible processing lubricant composition comprises at least one water-inmiscible base oil to be selected from a mineral oil, a hydrocarbon solvent, and an ester compound as the major component, and has a kinematic viscosity at 40 deg.C of 4.0-80.0 mm /s. When the base oil is constituted of a mineral oil and an ester compound, as the ratio, the mineral oil is 20-80 wt.% and the ester compound is 1-60 wt.%. The composition can further contain a sulfur based extreme-pressure additive (di-tert-dodecyl polysulfide or the like) and its content is preferably 0.1-30 wt.% of the composition.
