PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To solve the problem that when a resin is used as material for dispersing a fluorescent material, there is the problem of degradation by ultraviolet rays, and in the case of adding a rare earth element to be an emission center as a component of glass itself, a good wavelength conversion effective is difficult to get, and the reproducibility is not good enough due to a change in luminescent color depending on manufacturing conditions.SOLUTION : The wavelength conversion member includes at least any one of particles of dispersed oxy-nitride fluorescent or nitride fluorescent material in glass with a softening point of 700°C or higher, the glass is oxynite glass. By the combination, the rare earth in the fluorescent material is not dissolved in the glass in a process for dispersing fluorescent particles and keeps a particles state, and also a wave length conversion efficiency is improved and is not degraded by excitation light from violet to ultra-violet. It is a wave length converting parts in which a light extraction efficiency from fluorescent material is high and not effected by an atomosphere such as moisture. A light emitting apparatus with a small size and a long life can be obtained by the wavelength converting parts in combination with the nitride semiconductor light-emitting element and the like.COPYRIGHT : (C)2011, JPO&INPIT
