PURPOSE : A device and a method for manufacturing glass powder for a PDP are provided to shorten processing time.CONSTITUTION : A device and a method for manufacturing glass powder for a PDP comprises the following steps. Glass powder for a PDP is ground into smaller than 100 micro meter. The glass powder is made of B2O3, ZnO, SiO2, Al2O3, CaO, MgO, Li2O3, and Na2O. The powder is injected into a consecutive ball mill process by a vibration feeding method. The powder is continuously ground(S-21). The ground powder are sorted into powder smaller than 14 micro meter and larger than 14 micro meter. The powder larger than 14 micro meter are re-ground(S-22). The powder smaller than 14 micro meter are sorted into powder under 2 micro meter. The sorted powder smaller than 2 micro meter is ground again after a melting process(S-23). Powder whose size is between 2 and 14 micro meter is sorted.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2011
