PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a phosphor that is free from a rare earth and has a plurality of wavelengths of fluorescence due to change of excitation wavelength and its production method.
SOLUTION : A phosphor of the present invention is formed of a heat-treated material of a boehmite composite in which an organic compound derived from monoethanolamine is intercalated between layers of boehmite, which has different wavelengths of fluorescence depending on an excitation wavelength and has a plurality of fluorescence spectra due to change of the excitation wavelength. A production method of the phosphor of the present invention is a production method of the phosphor that has different wavelengths of phosphorescence depending on different excitation wavelengths and has fluorescence of a plurality of wavelengths due to change of the excitation wavelength and includes : a step of producing a boehmite composite by solvothermaly reacting a suspension made of aluminum hydroxide gel and monoethanolamine of a reaction solvent in a temperature range of 100°C to 200°C; and a step of heating the obtained boehmite composite in a temperature range higher than 120°C and lower than 300°C.
