PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide : a rare earth-iron based magnetic compound having ThMn12 type crystal structure with low α-Fe phase content; and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION : A magnetic compound and a method for manufacturing the magnetic compound are disclosed.
