PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an NdFeB-based magnet material which can reliably have coercivity equal to or higher than that of a magnet containing a rare metal such as Dy, Tb, Co and Cr, without containing a large amount of these rare metals.
SOLUTION : The NdFeBCu magnet material is formed of a liquid-quenched ribbon of Nd-Fe-B-CuX (x is a number which represents an atomic number ratio and satisfies 1≤x≤3).
