PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of manufacturing a rare earth bonded magnet by injection molding, in which the flowability of magnetic powder can be enhanced even when the magnetic powder is highly charged and the magnetic powder and a thermoplastic resin binder can be successfully and tightly brought into contact with each other to be able to make the fracture strength of a magnet product into high strength.
SOLUTION : The method of manufacturing the bonded magnet in a target shape by performing the injection molding of a bonded magnet material, which is obtained by adding thermoplastic resin binders to the magnetic powder 10 made of a rare earth iron-based alloy and by mixing them, includes : performing coating processing for coating the surface of the magnetic powder 10 with a thermoplastic resin binder 12A as primary kneading; subsequently performing secondary kneading for adding a thermoplastic resin binder 12B to the magnetic powder 10 having been subjected to the coating processing and kneading it to obtain the bonded magnet material; and performing the injection molding of the bonded magnet material.
