PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an organic photoelectric conversion element capable of greatly improving photoelectric conversion efficiency.
SOLUTION : The organic photoelectric conversion element 20 has a pixel electrode layer 21, an organic photoelectric conversion layer 23, a first electron blocking layer 24, a second electron blocking layer 25, and a transparent electrode layer 26 laminated in order. The organic photoelectric conversion layer 23 is made of Quinacridone, the first electron blocking layer is made of SnO, and the second electron blocking layer 25 is formed of an SiO-TiO2 alloy layer. The pixel electrode layer 21 is made of Al, and a carrier transport layer 22 made of an Al alloy (or Al-Li alloy) containing a rare earth element of 3.1 to 4.3 eV in work function or a titanium group is provided between the pixel electrode layer 21 and organic photoelectric conversion layer 23.
