PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a metal nanoparticle composed of a multi-component alloy including active metals such as Ti and having a relatively low oxygen content, to provide a method for producing the same, and to provide a metal nanoparticle production device which can produce the metal nanoparticle.
SOLUTION : The method for producing the metal nanoparticle comprises a plasma generation process in which plasma is generated in a liquid comprising a metal source so as to obtain a metal nanoparticle, wherein, the metal source includes two or more kinds of metal elements, the metal elements include at least one selected from Ti, Zr, Hf, V, rare earth elements, alkaline-earth metal elements and alkali metal elements, and the liquid is composed of one or more kinds of substances which do not comprise C-O bonds and/or O-H bonds in the molecule. The metal nanoparticle is obtained by the method, and the metal nanoparticle production device is used for producing the metal nanoparticle.
