PURPOSE : A nitride red phosphor with high luminous efficiency is provided to be suitable for 250~500 nm excitation light, and to obtain a white light source with high photonic efficiency, thermal stability, and chemical stability.CONSTITUTION : A nitride red phosphor is represented by chemical formula 1 : (Ba(1.8-x)M_x)Re_ySi_8Al_4N_16 and is activated with rare earth materials.
