A reforming catalyst support comprises : a substrate; and a coating formed on a surface of the substrate and including powder of a zirconia-titania solid solution, and a matrix of a metal oxide of at least one member selected from the group consisting of alumina, zirconia, iron oxides, oxides of rare earth elements, alkali metal oxides and alkali earth metal oxides. The coating formed on the surface can further include powder of zirconia-calcia solid solution.
