PURPOSE : A thermal conduction material and a chalcogenide compound are provided to have a high Seebeck coefficient and low heat conduction.CONSTITUTION : A thermal conduction material has the composition of a fixed chemical formula. The thermal conduction material comprises elements of the 13th group. The thermal conduction material comprises one element selected among the 13th group, the 14th group, rare earth and transition metal. The thermal conduction material comprises one or more elements selected among S, and Se and Te. The thermal conduction material comprises one or more elements selected among the 14th group, the 15th group, and the 16th group.
