PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for automatically sticking a flat member which has a pressure sensitive adhesive layer and a release sheet stuck to the layer, regardless of its shape, to an object after peeling from the release sheet. SOLUTION : This method for sticking the flat pressure sensitive adhesive member directs to peeling the flat adhesive member from the release sheet and sticking it to the object. A re-releasable pressure sensitive adhesive is prepareded in such a relationship that adhesion of the re-releasable sheet to the opposite side of the adhesive layer of the flat adhesive member is stronger than that of the adhesive layer to the release sheet, and weaker than that of the adhesive layer to the object. A re-releasable pressure sensitive adhesive sheet applied with the above re-releasable adhesive is stuck to the opposite side of the adhesive layer of the flat member. The re-releasable sheet is separated against the release sheet, the flat member is peeled from the release sheet in a state where the flat member adheres to the re-releasable adhesive sheet, and then, after the object is stuck to the adhesive layer of the flat member, the object is separated from the re-releasable adhesive sheet.
