PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method of manufacturing a rare earth magnet which is improved in HcJ while maintaining sufficiently high Br even when raw material powder of rare earth alloy having a smaller particle size is used.SOLUTION : The method of manufacturing the rare earth magnet includes a molding process of obtaining a molding by subjecting raw material powder of the rare earth magnet to dry molding, and a burning process of burning the molding to obtain a sintered body of the rare earth magnet. The mean particle size of the raw material powder is ≤3.5 μm, a nitrogen content in the sintered body is larger than an oxygen content, and the total of the nitrogen content and oxygen content is ≤1, 200 ppm.COPYRIGHT : (C)2010, JPO&INPIT
