PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a manufacturing method of an air electrode capable of stably holding high electrode performance for a long time even under high temperatures, and to provide an air electrode and a solid oxide fuel cell. SOLUTION : The manufacturing method of the air electrode 3 used for a ceramic reactor reacting using oxide ions having passed through an oxide ion conductor layer includes a process impregnating pores of a porous base material 31 constituting a skeleton with a metal ion solution 40 and then heating the impregnated porous base material 31 in an atmosphere containing oxygen, wherein the metal ion solution 40 contains a silver ion and one or more kinds of metal ions selected from transition metals other than Ag and rare earth.
