A two component structural adhesive composition comprises a first acid-free component comprising a monomer containing one or more radically polymerizable multiple bonds and a second acid-free component comprising a radical initiator or a radical activator. The first component further comprises a radical initiator and the second component comprises a radical activator or the first component further comprises a radical activator and the second component comprises a radical initiator. The first or second component or both of them further comprise a resin or resin mixture comprising one or more polymers containing phenol-ether groups. The resin or resin mixture may comprise one or more phenoxy resins e.g. bisphenol A. Also shown is a rare-earth permanent magnet assembly with the structural adhesive adhering the rare-earth permanent magnet to a substrate.
