PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rare earth magnet material from which a rare earth magnet with high magnetic powder density, excellent in magnetic characteristics, can be obtained.SOLUTION : The rare earth magnet material includes : a plurality of anisotropic particles having single crystal and uniaxial crystal magnetic anisotropy, containing samarium, iron, gallium, and nitrogen; and a plurality of isotropic particles, for binding the anisotropic particles, containing samarium, iron, gallium, and nitrogen, and having polycrystalline and isotropy. The content of the anisotropic articles relative to the whole is greater than or equal to 50 mass%.SELECTED DRAWING : Figure 1
