PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an antimicrobial solution usable in wide fields such as infection measure in a hospital, measure against food poisoning in an eating house, and degerming or the like in a transport industry including an airplane and in a home, and exhibiting high safety and high sustained effect. SOLUTION : The antimicrobial solution has a stable liquid shape not forming silver chloride and obtained by adding propylene glycol or glycerol to an aqueous solution containing ≤25 ppm silver ion as a silver chloro complex salt, and ammonium chloride or a chloride of an alkali metal or an alkaline earth metal as a chloride ion.
