The invention relates to an articulated device (1) for a garden or earth-working tool, comprising a first ferrule (2), a coupling means making it possible to attach one of the ends of at least one return means and having at least one tooth capable of interacting with one of the notches (13), at least two in number, placed on at least one profile (14) being able to pivot about a horizontal stem (5), notable in that the stem (5) is capable of receiving the other end of the return means and transverses radially the first ferrule (2), to which the coupling means (8) is connected, the device comprising a second ferrule (4), connected to the first ferrule (2) via the stem (5) or the coupling means (8), so as to allow, on the one hand, a sliding of the first ferrule (2) into the second ferrule (4) with a return force and, on the other hand, the engagement or nonengagement of the said tooth in one of the notches (13).
