FIELD : metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE : invention relates to metallurgy field, particularly to creation of random-orientation electrotechnical steel sheet, improved by losses in mandrel. Sheet is implemented from steel, containing elements at following ratio, wt % : carbon ≤ 0.01, silicon 0.1 - 7.0, aluminium 0.1 - 3.0, manganese 0.1 - 2.0, nitrogen ≤ 0.005, titanium ≤ 0.02, rare earth elements ≤ 0.05, sulphur ≤ 0.005, oxygen ≤ 0.005, iron and constant admixtures are the rest. Content of sulphur, oxygen, rare earth elements, titanium and nitrogen fulfill correlations : [rare earth elements]2×[O]2×[S]≥1×10-15 and ([rare earth elements]2×[O]2×[S])/([Ti]×[N])≥1×10-10, where [rare earth elements] - content of rare earth elements in wt %, [O] - content of oxygen in wt %, [S] - sulphur content in wt %, [Ti] - titanium content in wt %, [N] - nitrogen content in wt %. Steel contains oxy-sulphides of rare earth elements of size from 1 micrometre up to 5 micrometre, allowing cracks or fractures, from which not lea than 5% are oxy-sulphides of rare earth elements, combined with titanium nitride.
EFFECT : there are improved magnetic properties ensured by depression sedimentation of fine-dispersed titanium carbide at sections of sheet with lower temperature during annealing process.
