PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To prevent circulation of carbon being a source of carbon dioxide on the earth so as to reduce the global warming effect by making charcoal from a raw material for charcoal while suppressing generation of carbon dioxide and heat because the reduction of carbon dioxide, methane gas, and heat generation being sources of warming is not sufficient although global warming proceeds in recent years; and to carry out charcoal making in a large scale. SOLUTION : A charcoal-making apparatus using a heating machine can continuously make a large amount of charcoal from a large amount of raw material for charcoal while suppressing generation of carbon dioxide and heat as much as possible by heating the raw material for charcoal, mounted and carried by a carrier machine driven by an electric motor, by the heating machine while suppressing supply of oxygen as much as possible.
