PURPOSE : A control method of a gas type clothes dryer is provided to prevent the gas leak by accurately detecting the flame by re-operating a flame sensor after cooling.CONSTITUTION : A control method of a gas type clothes dryer is as follows. A dry process of the gas type clothed dryer is progressed(S10). The temporarily suspended of the dry process is determined(S14). If it is determined as temporarily stop the gas supply is suspended(S16). A re-operating process is determined(S18). If it is reactivated, a cooling process is performed for specific hours(S20). A state of a flame sensor is checked(S22). If there is the flame, the re-operation is determined, if the flame sensor re-operates, the cooling process is performed for the specific hours.
