PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for producing a phosphor membrane material able to form a crystallized Y2O3-containing membrane on glass and silicone substrates and having high performance. SOLUTION : The method for producing the crystallized metal oxide membrane is to hold an organic metal membrane or a metal oxide membrane comprising at least one kind of rare earth metal element selected from a group consisting of Y, Dy, Sm, Gd, Ho, Eu, Tm, Tb, Er, Ce, Pr, Yb, La, Nd and Lu at 250-600°C temperature and crystallize the same by irradiating ultraviolet light having ≤200 nm wavelength.
