PURPOSE : A ringing ceramic goblet manufacturing method is provided to obtain a ringing ceramic goblet of desired design with a high process efficiency in a reduced error rate by preparing each part of the goblet independently before semi-drying for assembly.
CONSTITUTION : A ringing ceramic goblet manufacturing method comprises steps of : forming each of cup(10), gripe, cup bottom(40) and tinkler(30) by using raw earth for ceramics containing at least one selected from a group consisting of kaolin pink, pink earth, terra cotta for Boun-jang ceramics, bone ash and terra alba; semi-drying water on the surface of each prepared part in order to prevent the tinkler(30) from adhesion to other parts; assembling a ringing ceramic goblet, in which the tinkler(30) is located in the space generated from the combination of cup(10), gripe and cup bottom(40), and a solution containing soil is applied to a contact surface between the cup(10) and the gripe, and the other contact surface between the gripe and the cup bottom(40); drying the assembled ringing ceramic goblet completely : firstly calcining the dried goblet in kiln; coating only the cup(10) with glaze in a state of turning the prepared goblet upside down in a glaze bath, followed by taking the cup from the bath; secondly calcining the coated goblet in kiln at 1230-1250deg.C for 13-14 hours. The gripe optionally has openwork. In case the raw earth for ceramics is pink kaolin, the goblet is calcined in oxidizing calcination. In case the raw earth for ceramics is pink earth, terra cotta for Boun-jang ceramics or terra alba, the goblet is calcined in reducing calcination.
