PURPOSE : An artificial reef using artificial rock for shellfish is provided to facilitate the attachment and growth of seaweeds by attaching plates made of wood plate or earth to the upper part and using an artificial rock in the lower part. CONSTITUTION : An artificial reef using artificial rock for shellfish includes a body portion(100) and a roof portion(200). Plural horizontal L-shaped steels, vertical L-shaped steels and slant L-shaped steels are connected in the body portion. The upper part of the body portion is narrow and the lower part of the body portion is broad to improve the stability. Various holes are formed inside the body portion, to which artificial rock(140) is coupled. One or more seaweed implantation portions(210) of the roof portion are couple to the upper part of the body portion. © KIPO 2008
