PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an adsorbent that efficiently adsorbs rare earth elements and/or actinoid, a rare earth element and/or actinoid recovery method and a scandium or actinoid separation method. SOLUTION : The present invention provides a rare earth element and/or actinoid adsorbent represented by formula (A), a rare earth element and/or actinoid recovery method using the same and a scandium or actinoid separation method using the same (R independently represent a C1-20 hydrocarbon group that may have N or S, or H).
