PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a poorly adhesive ceramic with a high corrosion resistance and a thermal shock resistance, which can be burned at a low temperature.
SOLUTION : The poorly adhesive ceramic with a high corrosion resistance and a thermal shock resistance comprises an iron oxide ceramic containing unavoidable impurities as a parent phase and comprises 5-20 mass% high-melting metal oxide of the formula : MxOy (wherein M is at least one metal element chosen from Al, Mg, Ti, Zr and rare earth elements; and x and y satisfy the relations : 1≤x≤3 and 1≤y≤4; respectively) and 20-45 mass% Si3N4-Si2N2O-SiO2 compound particle dispersed in the parent phase. The high-melting metal oxide has a melting point of ≥1, 500°C, and the compound particle contains silicon (Si), oxygen (O) and nitrogen (N) elements.
