PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a ferromagnetic semiconductor material which improves the concentration of magnetized ions. SOLUTION : The ferromagnetic semiconductor material is composed mainly of a semiconductor material belonging to the group II-VI, IV or III-V, contains at least either of a transition metal (excluding Mn when the main component belongs to the group IV) and a rare earth element as an additive element, and has an amorphous structure.
