PURPOSE : An absorption type water chiller and heater is provided to prevent heating in the no-water state by checking whether the fall of a liquid level is temporary or normal in a short time.CONSTITUTION : A level detector(30) detects a surface level of an absorbent liquid. An absorbent liquid pump(12) boosts rare absorbent solution of an absorber to a high temperature regenerator. A temperature sensor(29) senses the temperature of the high temperature regenerator. An inverter control type control part(32) varies the rpm of the absorbent liquid pump. The absorbent liquid pump is driven at a predetermined high frequency for a predetermined time period if the level detector detects the absorbent surface level lower than a predetermined lower limit level. If the lower level is detected again after the predetermined time, a warning message is generated or the operation of the absorption type chiller and heater is stopped.© KIPO 2009
