PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a tread rubber composition friendly to the earth and prepared for the decrease in the amount of petroleum supply in the future by increasing the content of resources other than petroleum, and giving tires maintaining sufficient brake performance on both wet and dry road surfaces and reduced in rolling resistance. SOLUTION : The tread rubber composition comprises 100 pts.wt. of a rubber component containing 50 mass% or more of a natural rubber and/or an epoxidized natural rubber, 5 pts.mass or more of a resin and 30-150 pts.mass of a filler comprising 80 wt.% or more of a white filler, wherein the resin has at least two peaks in its molecular weight distribution.
