PURPOSE : A method of preparing poly(ether sulfone) resin having the small amount of remaining solvent by using microwaves is provided to improve the properties such as the amount of solvent remaining inside a polyethersulfone resin, yellowness, and tensile strength by performing the drying by using microwaves.CONSTITUTION : A method of preparing poly(ether sulfone) resin comprises a step for manufacturing a poly(ether sulfone) resin by polymerizing divalent phenolic compound, dihalogeno diphenyl sulfone and alkali metal salt or alkaline-earth metal salt; a step for precipitating the manufactured poly(ether sulfone) resin; and a step for drying it with microwave radiation. The amount of solvent remaining inside the poly(ether sulfone) resin maintains 0 ~ 1.0 weight%%.© KIPO 2009
