A piezoelectric ceramic composition which includes a main ingredient represented by the general formula {(1-x)(K1-a-bNaaLib)(Nb1-cTac)O3-xM2M4O3 (wherein M2 is Ca, Ba, or Sr; M4 is Zr, Sn, or Hf; 0.005≤x≤0.1; 0≤a≤0.9 and 0≤b≤0.1, provided that 0≤a+b≤0.9; and 0≤c≤0.3) and contains manganese in an amount of 2-15 mol per 100 mol of the main ingredient, the amount of the M4 being from 0.1 to 5.0 mol per 100 mol of the main ingredient. The composition preferably further contains nickel in an amount of 0.1-5.0 mol per 100 mol of the main ingredient. It preferably further contains a specific rare-earth element such as ytterbium or indium. This piezoelectric ceramic composition is used to form ceramic layers disposed in a raw ceramic (1). This piezoelectric ceramic composition has improved sinterability in a reducing atmosphere and can be burned together with nickel. Also provided is a piezoelectric-ceramic electronic part obtained from the composition.
