PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for producing an alkaline-earth metal carbonate particle-dispersed liquid in which each particle has a small minor axis diameter and a high aspect ratio, and whose content ratio is high, and to provide an alkaline-earth metal carbonate particle-dispersed liquid produced by the production method. SOLUTION : This invention relates to the method for producing an alkaline-earth metal carbonate particle-dispersed liquid, wherein alkaline-earth metal carbonate particles are produced by allowing alkaline-earth metal ions to react with carbonate ions, and the method has : a nucleation stage and a particle growth stage, wherein the nucleation stage is a carbon dioxide gas process using carbon dioxide as a carbonate source, and also, a water-soluble polymer is added as a flocculation preventive.
