PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for adding rare earth elements into molten steel by which in the case of adding the rare earth elements into the molten steel , a yield is improved and the yield can surely get a desirable value. SOLUTION : When the rare earth elements are added into the molten steel while stirring the molten steel, the stirring power density ε for stirring the molten steel is made to be 1-20W/ton and the adding speed of the rare earth elements is made to be 0.05-1.0 kg/min/ton. Before adding the rare earth elements, the stirring power density ε to the molten steel adding the rare earth elements is ≥10W/ton and the deoxidizing-treatment to the molten steel is performed by adding Al to the molten steel so that the Al content contained in the molten steel while stirring at ≥10min, becomes ≥0.01 mass%.
