A yellow earth plate for bed soil and casing soil containing decomposed compost and yellow earth(loess) is provided. The earth plate enables seedlings to absorb sufficient nutrients and prevents the seedlings from taking root outside a bed of nursery stock, and thus permits the user to easily separate the seedlings from the bed of nursery. TO make the titled yellow earth plate(10), 25 to 20% by weight of decomposed compost is mixed with 75 to 80% by weight of yellow earth, formed into plate shape, cut into 190 to 200mmn in width and 140 to 150mm in length and dried in shade for 1 to 2hr. The decomposed compost is obtained by mixing rice straw, weed and fallen leaves and aging for more than 6 months. A mounting groove(11) for rice seed(20) is formed at regular intervals on the yellow earth plate.
