PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an external-electrode rare-gas fluorescent lamp capable of improving a connectivity between an external electrode and a power terminal, and at the same time, preventing creeping discharge. SOLUTION : The external-electrode rare-gas fluorescent lamp is provided, with a first bonding material extending from one power terminal to the luminous tube, and having an electric insulating quality disconnecting to another external electrode; and a second bonding material extending from another power terminal to the luminous tube, and having the electrical insulating quality disconnecting to one external electrode and to the first bonding material.
