PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a veneerable alloy for the production of ceramic veneered dental restorations, e.g., for the production of dental artificial prosthetic devices such as crowns, bridges, inlays or the like.
SOLUTION : The invention relates to a veneerable alloy for the production of ceramic veneered dental restorations, consisting of : Nickel 37 wt.% or higher, Chromium 18 to 23.5 wt.%, Molybdenum, tungsten in total 8 to 16 wt.%, either (i) Silicon 0.5 to 3.4 wt.% and Boron 0.31 to 2.5 wt.%, or (ii) Silicon 2.1 to 3.4 wt.% and Boron 0 to 0.05 wt.%, Niobium 0 to 0.9 wt.%, Manganese 0 to 0.5 wt.%, Carbon 0 to 0.02 wt.%, Iron, cobalt, copper in total 0 to 30 wt.%, Iron, cobalt, copper in total 0 to 30 wt.%, Aluminum, titanium, zirconium, hafnium, yttrium, lanthanum, cerium, the other rare earth metals, calcium, strontium in total 0 to 0.5 wt.%, Beryllium 0 to 0.3 wt.%, and the other metals, semimetals, further components in total 0 to 10 wt.% (the data on wt.% refer to the total weight of the alloys).
