PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an oxide superconductive bulky body having improved strength and excellent thermal dissipation property.SOLUTION : In the production of the oxide superconductive bulky body having a composition of RE1Ba2Cu3O7-x (RE expresses one or more kinds of rare earth elements (La, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu) including Y), after a precursor having an desired shape is obtained by incorporating a reinforcing body of a noble metal not melting at a heating temperature resulting from a melt solidification method into raw material mixed powder in the press-molding and the compaction of the raw material powder of elements constituting the oxide super conductive bulky body, the crystal is grown by applying the melt solidification method to the precursor.COPYRIGHT : (C)2009, JPO&INPIT
