PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a granular detergent composition that exhibits excellent re-soiling-preventing performances and high solubility, and a granular detergent composition comprising the particles. SOLUTION : The granular detergent composition comprises (A) a nonionic surfactant and (B) an anionic surfactant, where the granule comprises, as the component (A), (A-1) an ethylene oxide adduct of a 10-14C alcohol having an average number of moles of added ethylene oxide of 1-5 and (A-2) an ethylene oxide adduct of a 10-14C alcohol having an average number of moles of added ethylene oxide of 10-30 in such an amount that the (A-1)/(A-2) mass ratio is 80/20-40/60, the difference between the average number of moles of added ethylene oxide of (A-2) and the average number of moles of added ethylene oxide of (A-1) being at least 10, and, as the component (B), (B-1) a fatty acid alkyl ester sulfonate and (B-2) a soap.
